The ZM-XF fan series is a high-performance solution featuring

an optimized 9-blade design, built upon sufficient data

and testing results accumulated through

Zalman's extensive cooling development expertise

The difference between 7-blade and 9-blade configurations

is not just the number of blades; they fundamentally alter

aerodynamic characteristics.

Generally, 9-blade fans are developed for high airflow and

7-blade fans for high static pressure.

However, after numerous tests and fine-tuning,

Zalman's XF series maintains the high airflow of

a 9-blade configuration while being engineered to

deliver powerful static pressure comparable to a 7-blade design

Air Intake Architecture

Increased Effective Air Intake:

Starting from the outer edges of the fan housing,

the Air Intake Inlet functions like a "funnel,"

drawing in air from an area wider than

the actual rotation radius of the blades.

Anti-Turbulence Airflow:

When air outside  the blade areas abruptly

turns 90 degrees into the frame, turbulence

is generated at the corners.

The gentle slope guides the air smoothly

along the housing walls,

accelerating the air seamlessly through

a mechanism similar to the Coanda Effect
