3-way floor-standing speaker

Theva n ° 2 is a very fine silhouette column speaker thanks to its 5 ’’ speakers (13 cm). With this slender profile, it is elegantly integrated into all living spaces. Its TNF tweeter signed Focal provides mild and clear treble while the mediums/serious produced by the Slatefiber membrane offer dynamic, rich and balanced sound. This column speaker embodies the perfect balance between finesse and performance.

 

Elegance and design

Theva N°2 shines with its elegant sobriety, while offering a host of subtleties that make all the difference: front panel, Black, Dark Wood and Light Wood finishes, metallic and screen-printed rings, magnetic fabric holder, rear vent positioning

For a complete, high-performance Home Cinema installation, this loudspeaker combines perfectly with the other products in the line: Theva N°1, Theva N°3, Theva N°3-D, Theva Center, Theva Surround and the SUB 600P subwoofer, for intense enjoyment of all your films.

 

TNF Tweeter

High-finesse treble

Made in France in our workshops, the TNF Aluminum/Magnesium inverted dome tweeter delivers smooth, clear highs. The suspension that connects the dome to its support uses a shape memory material, Poron. This suspension is directly derived from Focal's famous Beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion by three between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz, the area of ​​​​very high sensitivity for the ear. In addition, to perfect the spatialization and further improve the very low directivity of the inverted dome, a waveguide was developed. In the horizontal plane, the frequency response is within a deviation of +/- 0.5 dB. This performance guarantees an incredibly stable soundstage.

Slatefiber membrane

Dynamic and balanced sound

Exclusive to Focal, made in France, the Slatefiber cone is made of recycled carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymer. In pursuit of perfection and specialists in speaker cones, our engineers have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers oriented in the same direction to achieve even greater rigidity, damping, and lightness, the "essentials" of a good speaker. Recognized for its reproduction of dynamic, rich, and balanced sound, this cone has proven itself on numerous products for the home, for professionals in recording studios, and also for listening in cars.
